Gilmore Girls Mini-Series: Part One - Gilmore Revisited

Description: It has been eleven months since the end of Season 8. Rory and Nate left for Africa for the summer, after which, they were to find an apartment together in New York City, working for the New York Times. While Nate holds a larger role at the New York Times as a senior editorialist, Rory works as a contract editorialist. Meanwhile, Luke and Lorelai, now having their hands full with an ‘almost’ one-year old baby boy (Nicholas Abbott Danes), are cohabitating and finally evolving into a wonderful family while they hold the award for Stars Hollow’s favorite married couple.

Re-visit Season 8

Hello everyone. Hope 2009 is treating you well so far.

I just wanted to say that an epilogue/two-hour movie (following a year from where my Season 8 ended) is on its way in a couple of months. If any of you intend to read it, I wanted to suggest that you re-read Season 8 to prepare.

... meet again

After reading a few reviews/messages, I've been thinking that maybe a 2-hour made-for-TV Gilmore movie wouldn't be all that bad. Do I have the time to commit to such a project? Not really. Did I have time to work on Season 8? Not really. But I made time regardless of what went on in my life. I have ideas. I have a few ideas. If (and I mean "if") two parties in particular would be willing to collaborate with me (

dragonfly0303), I may just put those ideas into a final Gilmore movie.

On the flipside, when I wrote Season 8, I was adamant that Gilmore should end after that one extra season. And I'm still convinced ending it after Season 8 was the right decision. If it were the real series, I doubt Gilmore would have made it any further. So, I guess I still need some convincing...
